Birding with Seth Kellogg: A Compendium of His Best Columns Paperback – August 20, 2025

This book is collection of the best columns of the esteemed bird-watcher and nature observer, Seth Kellogg. His columns were published in the Sunday Republican of Springfield, MA from September, 1998 until April, 2018. This book is his observations of local Western Massachusetts birds and best birding locations, as well as, the migratory birds that come through the Connecticut River Valley area. The book is organized by seasonal progression of each month in the year and is accompanied by many photographs of the birds and locations that he discussed. Seth possessed a keen eye and an ability to translate his observations to the written page. This book is part of Seth’s overall legacy to present and future birders and to anyone who loves a good nature story. All proceeds from book sales will go to the Allen Bird Club of Springfield, MA.
