You won’t find a more high tech pet door than the Elite Super Selective series from Security Boss Manufacturing. This window insert pet door is the perfect size for cats and small dogs. Other cat doors on the market only have safeguards that control the “in” direction of the flap. Raccoons can easily figure those out. Our Super Selective cat doors utilize RFID technology to ensure that only your pets fitted with an Elite RFID collar tag can unlock the door. The Elite RFID collar tags are completely waterproof. Two are included with this window insert. The Super Selective pet door will only be unlocked and usable when it senses that your pet is wearing a programmed Elite RFID collar tag. Elite RFID collar tags do not quire batteries, but the Super Selective smart cat door does require 4 AA alkaline batteries. No corners were cut - only the most durable products are used to make Security Boss Pet Doors. The frame of this window insert cat door is made from heavy duty aluminum. Aluminum is naturally rust resistant, but we go the extra mile and add a powder coating to further deter rusting. We have lined both the frame and the pet flap with a pliable rubber weather stripping. This bulb seal stripping seals the seam between the window frame and our pet door insert, keeping winds and cold temperatures outside where they belong. The glass used in the window half of this insert is tempered safety glass. Our pet door insert is temporarily installed, and the process is straightforward. After measuring your window frame to order the correct size, use the spring-loaded adjustment mechanism to tighten your insert into your window frame. Lock it into place with the thumbwheels, and your window insert is unable to be removed from the outside. Easy as that!
